There will be over fifty 9ft pool tables set-up in the playing arena for these European Championships involving 39 European Countries playing in the following categories Men, Women, Seniors, Wheelchair, Ladies, Juniors, Pupils, Girls, playing in the following disciplines 8ball, 9ball, 14.1 and team events……

All Ireland Open & U-21 9Ball Championship
Entries are now being accepted for the 6th annual All Ireland Open 9Ball Championship and the annual All Ireland Under-21 9Ball Championship with both events taking place at Frames Snooker and Pool Club in Donegal Street, Belfast City Centre on Saturday 26th July……
These two prestigious events has produced some great champions over the years and always attracts top Cue-sport players from all over Ireland and overseas and hopefully this year will be no different when all players will be trying to write themselves into the history books…….
The organisers are asking all players to please enter both tournaments a.s.a.p. but all are reminded that the cut-off date for seeding is Thursday 24th July 2008 at 7-pm……

Entries are now being taken for the annual 2008 Co. Down Open 8Ball Championship which takes place this Saturday 19th July 2008 ……….
The tournament will take place in TJ’s Pool Club, Newry, Co. Down with two time slots in operation 10am and 2pm and all players are asked to pre-enter on or before Thursday 17th July 2008.…….
The current champion is Stephen Dempsey (Cavan) who defeated Gavin Geraghty (Meath) in the 2007 final…..

This Saturday 12th July 2008 is a free weekend on both tournament pool diaries and a few of players asked me to put on a Under-21 8Ball Tournament (reds & yellows) which i said yes.....
If the tournament goes well we will add a number of under-21 events to the 2009 tournament diary next season....

The new proposed challenge tour has now received the 32 entries it required with all other players now going on the stand-by list which sees five names already down on it.....
If any player fails to reach the arrangements of payment for the Proposed Challenge Tour by the 31st August 2008 they will not be considered and there place will be offered to the next player in line on the stand-by lis ..... ”NO EXCEPTIONS" given to any player
